Museum of Kerala History
Foundation Edappally. Situated at Edappally 10 k.m. on the National Highway from Ernakulam to Alwaye. There is a  Gallery of paintings, and a Centre for visual Arts.  Open 10 a.m to 5 p. m.  closed on  Mondays

Bolgatty Island
The palace was build by the Dutch in 1744, Later, it became the seat of the British Resident of Cochin and in 1976 the palace was converted in to a hotel, under the K. T. D.C.

Chinese Fishing Nets
Fort Cochin These Nets, at the entrance of the harbour and along https://find-bride-review.net/ the backwaters with Pivots of wood, were introduced by Chinese traders.

Dutch palace – Mattancherry
The palace originally build by the Portuguese and Presented to the Cochin Raja in 1555,  Its interiors are decorated with murals from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Open 10 am to  5  p.m.

Hill palace museum : Tripunithara
Located 11 kms east of Ernakulam, Set on top of a hillock, this  Prodigious palace – turned – museum displays 13 categories of exhibits, including paintings, carvings and other royal
antiquities donated by the Cochin and Travancore royal families and the paliam Devaswom. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p. m. Closed on Mondays.

Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry
Build in 1568, this is the oldest synagogue in the Common Wealth.  The great scrolls of old Testament, the copper plates in which the grants of privileage made by the Cochin rulers were recorded and the exquisite chinese hand Painted tiles are of interest.  Open 10 a. m. to 12 noon and 3p. m.to 5 p. m. closed on  Mondays.

Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica Church, Fort Cochin
There are some beautiful paintings in this Roman Catholic church.

St. Francis Church, Fort cochin
This Protestant Church, originally build by the portuguese in 1510. Vascoda Gama was buried here in 1524. 14  years  later his remains were sent to Lisbon

St. George  Forane Church, Edapally
This Roman Catholic church was build way back in AD 593. An  important Pilgrim Centre.

Vallarpadam Church 
The Basilica of Our Lady of Ransom, Vallarpadam, declared as a National shrine and Basilica in 2004. In 1524,  Portuguese Missionaries established a Church at Vallarpadam dedicated to the holy spirit.  An important Pilgrim centre just 5.5 km away.

Jewish Synagogue is located 36 km. from Ernakulam town, The peaceful co- existence here of a Church , Temple, Mosque and Jewish Synagogue all in close proximity is unique,rare and a symbol of Keralas religious tolerance.

Cheraman Juma Masjid
Cheraman Juma Masjid at Kodungallore is believed to be the oldest Mosque in India. It was built in  69 AD.According to Popular Muslim legend the mosque was built in memory of the Chera ruler of Kerala.  Rama Varma Kulashekhara who is alleged to be the first convert essay writer online to Islam in India . The mosque is  built in the traditional Hindu architectural style.

Cherai Beach
Cherai Beach, one of the best beaches of Kerala, in the northern end of Vypin island, is just 26 kms away.

St. Thomas Kottakkavu Church
Believed to be the first church in India (AD. 52) and one of the seven churches founded by St. Thomas, an Apostles of Jesus Christ, who came to Kerala
